STRATIGRAPHIC CORRELATION OF THE SINIAN IN THE EASTERN PART OF THE NORTHERN CHINA PLATE

A new scheme of stratigraphic correlation has been proposed from the view-point of the seismically active period and by means of integrating sequence stratigraphic, chronostratigraphic and biostratigraphic data,and the succession of various lithostratigraphic units（formations）of the Sinian in the Xuzhou-Huainan area has been revised after deleting some overlapping parts of tectonic slabs in the area.
