Summary of nationwide regional geological survey in 1998

This Summary report sums up the results obtained in the 1∶50000 and 1∶250000 regional geological surveys by all the provinces,autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government of China in 1998.Many new achievements were scored in investigations of stratigraphy and paleontology,petrology,geological structure and tectonics,mineral deposits,agricultural geology,ecogeology,environmental geology,hazard geology,tourism geology etc.
