Brush structure and its genetic mechanism on the northern margin of the Luxi uplift

    • In the area of Zhangqiu Zibo on the northern edge of the Luxi uplift, there are a series of NS NNW NW trending large arcuate brittle fracture belts formed in the Paleozoic Mesozoic sedimentary covers, which have similar deformation features and kinematic mechanisms. In plan these fracture belts combine regularly to form a large scale tenso shear brush fracture structure system. Its formation and evolution were controled by the activity of the NNE trending Yishu fault belt. It is the result of deformation of the low sequence tectonic stress field induced by the NNE sinistral shear of the Yishu fault belt in the late Yanshanian.
