MIDDLE CAMBRIAN HSVCHUANGIAN TRACE FOSSILS FROM DENGFENG,HENAN PROVINCE, AND THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL SIGNIFICANCE

Ten ichnogenera and 14 ichospecies of trace fossils have been discovered in the Middle Cambrian Hsuchuang Formation in Dengfeng,Henan province,and they are described systematically.The authors discuss the geological and geographical distribution of the ichnocoenosis Cruziana barbata-Rusophycus ramellansis and the features of depositional environments in which the trace fossils lived.
