ON "FAULTED COMPLEX"

"Faulted complex" is a descriptive and genetic term. Theoretically, where there occurs faulting, there exists faulted complex. This paper briefly describes the characteristics of faulted complex. It is held that faulted complex with a regional scale should be mapped as a tectonostratigraphic unit, and bigger tectonic blocks therein should be studied in order to reflect the material expression of faulting objectively.
