Abstract
Based on 1:200000 regional gravity survey data obtained in Tengchong area, in combination with aeromagnetic survey, artificial earthquake and geothermal data, the authors comprehensively analyzed the volcanic edifice and its eruption mechanism in Tengchong area. It is inferred that there is a shallowly formed high-attitude basic magma chamber in the crust below the gravity height of Qushi-Puchuan. The whole volcanic edifice includes the underlying basic magma chamber in Qushi-Puchuan area, the Longchuan River fault and Tengchong-Yingjiang fault through both sides, and volcanic rock ejected from the surface through the fault.
