Analysis of sedimentation and genetic stratigraphic framework of Yongkang basin in Zhejiang province

    • Yongkang Group, the fluviolacustrine deposit of Yongkang basin of a continental river, may be subdivided into nine sorts of sedimentation in which the sedimentation associations in different stages and the petrologic characteristics in different environments are not the same, or into eight sedimentary bodies, which are the basic units of the deposits in the basin. There exist six geological boundaries controlling five isochronous stratigraphic units, which indicate that the basin developed in five stages, or called five sedimentary episodes which compose of the model of genetic stratigraphic framework of Yongkang basin by means of overlapping each other on the whole.
