    Digital mineral exploration and quantitative evaluation in the big data age

    • Our age is an age of rapid development of science and technology and also a data explosion age. Different fields and different types of work need to set up their own data science and train their own qualified personnel according to their respective characteristics. On the basis of the in-depth understanding of the concept and the formation process of the big data age and the introduction them into the research field of geological work, researchers have put forward the concept of digital prospecting and thus achieved the leap from mathematical geology to digital geology, thus making up the defects of the traditional qualitative prospecting. The future inexorable trend of development in this aspect should be the combination of the theories of four prospecting systems so as to make a scientific quantitative evaluation for mineral resources prediction and analysis.
