Abstract: According to the exploration data at middle or large scale,and by the method of integrated geo-information modeling reserve estimation,bauxite prespective areas are delineated in provinces of China,for different prediction types and different depths(500m and 1000m). Potential resources are estimated with the geological parameter volumetric method. Based on these works, important bauxite potencial areas are analyzed according to quantitative statistics of proved resources and predicted resources per unit area,and suggestions are made for the deployment of bauxite exploration.
