达马拉造山带纳米比亚De Rust伟晶岩型锂矿成矿地质特征与锂资源前景分析

    Geological characteristics and lithium resource prospects of De Rust pegmatite type lithium deposits in the Damara orogenic belt of Namibia

    • 摘要: 锂是全球范围重要的战略新兴矿产之一。随着国际对锂金属的关注愈发增高,包括纳米比亚等非洲国家锂矿资源的勘查和开发已经引起各国的重视,但总体勘查研究程度较低。本文以达马拉造山带内纳米比亚 De Rust 伟晶岩型锂矿为研究对象,分析其矿产地质特征,总结成矿规律与矿床成因;同时与纳米比亚其他锂矿床开展综合对比研究,以掌握其锂矿资源前景,为区域找矿提供指导。达马拉造山带构造复杂,岩浆活动强烈,地层有利锂矿赋存,可大致划分为5个伟晶岩成矿带,穿过纳米比亚,安哥拉,博茨瓦纳和刚果等国家,主要集中在纳米比亚境内。De Rust 锂矿为LCT型花岗伟晶岩锂矿,矿体呈脉状,具分带性,矿化与多种地质过程相关。纳米比亚其他锂矿床如UIS、Rubicon and Helikon 等各具特点。纳米比亚达马拉造山带锂矿地质条件优越,资源潜力大,但开发面临技术、资金等挑战。未来有望成为我国锂资源供应来源,需政府、企业共同努力,加强国际合作,注重环保与资源合理利用,以实现可持续发展,在全球锂产业中发挥重要作用。

       

      Abstract: Lithium is one of the strategically important emerging minerals globally. As international attention to lithium metal increases, the exploration and development of lithium mineral resources in African countries, including Namibia, have garnered significant attention from various nations, yet the overall level of exploration and research remains relatively low. This article focuses on the De Rust pegmatite-type lithium mine in Namibia within the Damara orogenic belt, analyzing its mineral geological characteristics and summarizing the mineralization patterns and genesis of the deposit. Additionally, a comprehensive comparative study is conducted with other lithium deposits in Namibia to grasp the prospects of its lithium mineral resources and provide guidance for regional prospecting. The Damara orogenic belt, characterized by complex structures and intense magmatic activity, is favorable for the occurrence of lithium deposits. It can be roughly divided into five pegmatite mineralization zones, traversing Namibia, Angola, Botswana, and Congo, with the majority concentrated within Namibia. The De Rust lithium mine is an LCT-type granitic pegmatite lithium mine, with ore bodies presenting as veined and displaying zoning characteristics. Mineralization is associated with various geological processes. Other lithium deposits in Namibia, such as UIS, Rubicon, and Helikon, each possess unique characteristics. The lithium geological conditions in the Damara orogenic belt of Namibia are superior, offering significant resource potential, yet development faces challenges related to technology and funding. In the future, it is expected to become a source of lithium resource supply for China, necessitating joint efforts from the government and enterprises to strengthen international cooperation, prioritize environmental protection and rational resource utilization, and achieve sustainable development, thereby playing a significant role in the global lithium industry.
